propeller question

Post by zero.one.victor »

I was wondering if anyone here has a Lycoming conversion using a fixed-pitch prop? What brand, diameter and pitch? Or any other big-engine conversion (220 Franklin or IO-360 Continental) using a fixed-pitch prop?

Fixed Pitch Props

Post by Watkinsnv »

Del Airs STC allows two fixed pitch props. A McCauley 1A170/EFA 76''max 74'' min and a Sensenich 76EM8S5 76'' max no reduction permitted, using a Lyc O-360. But I have heard of some larger dia props being used up north. Lance
