Had a great flight to Orchard Landing (Merkle Field - 3IS4, not too far from Dubuque, IA). It is a small orchard with a nice runway. They have a variety of apples and free 6 pack of apple cider donuts to pilots that fly in. You can find more about them on Facebook if you search “Orchard Landing”.
A nice surprise was meeting another 170 owner today. As I was taxiing to park I realized it was another polished 170 that was there. If Jeff Nelson is on the forum it was nice to meet you.
