KORS Eastsound Orcas Island WA

Just back from KORS. Spent a couple nights there to beat the heat wave this week. Underwing camping allowed, $10/night (going to $20 soon). Jeannie in the office is awesome. They have a BBQ grill, bikes, two private bathrooms with shower. This is luxury camping. Short walk or shorter bike ride into town for food. Madrona, The White Horse Pub, Olga Rising (for breakfast). Missed out on the bakery but weight and balance would have likely suffered. Great little airport, lots of plane watching to be had. Whale tours and mountain hiking as well.

It’s a lovely spot. They will have a fly in next weekend.
