Support our advertiser

Post by Bruce Fenstermacher »

I'm sure all can see Travers & Associates, a long time advertiser with the TIC170A print publications, has decided at least in the short term to advertise here on the forum.

If you are a customer of Travers pleas take the time to give them a call an tell them how much you appreciate their support of our Association that saw their ad here.

If your like me and not one of their customers. Be sure to at least click their advertising at the top of the page and view their pages. By doing this you are being counted as at least viewing their site. I'd encourage everyone also let them bid on your business at insurance renewal time as I plan to do right now.

In the case of this post my normal closing caution statement does not apply :D :D

Does just having sent them $993 count?

Do does their premium reflect the additional exposure to risk due to speed? (If so, then Joe may not want to insure at all.)

Joe it most certainly does. Next time you communicate with them tell them how much you appreciate their support of the TIC170A and how specially nice their ad on the web looks.

Sorry Frank and Joe, I know who you are because I reviewed my secret forum name decoder book. :D

But George, you had just mentioned Joe and his lightning fast green 170 and that image was stuck in my mind.

Again, you misunderstand, my friend...
Due to it's slowww speed,... Joe's flying machine spend a longer period of time exposed to the elements and risks of flight....therefore the underwriter has to up-the-ante to cover the additional risk ...(above and beyond the other additional risks which I won't specifically mention.)

Your right George I saw the name Joe and the word speed in the same sentence and my brain went wild with this vision of a green 170 just a blur in the sky. My brain just couldn't deduct what you where really saying.

Of course now that you are replying twice to everything I'm sure we'll all figure out what your saying in half the time. :D

I think you guys got it wrong... green it the fastest color out there. Nothing goes faster than green ( think money). That is why I put green stripes on mine, I figured as fast as my money goes on this airplane maybe some of the speed would be left behind.

You may be right, Dave. I'm not sure that it's the green that makes it slow... I just know the two slowest airplanes in the fleet are green.

Bruce, The reason George has two posts is because it takes him twice as long. That would be a lot more accurate than half the time. Assuming we are talking about his plane and not his typing.
