Wheel spats

Hi all,
I have finally located a set of 170 wheel spats (Wheel pants US ?)

I have looked at pix on the net but cant seem to find the right angle to the ground they should be mounted at - I didnt get the mounting brackets and will have to make some up.

Any advice apreciated

The open bottoms should be parallel to the ground, when sitting in the three-point attitude.

Thank you- my 170 is going in for its anual next week so my A & P
will fit them at the same time
