Hope joining the forum will be fun. Surfing around it and reading the posts has been fun already. Owned '48 2561V in early 70's. (wonder where that rascal is now??) Wife and I had a ball flying all over Michigan. She and I were instrumental in restarting the Dawn Patrols back then. Great fun.
Want to buy another one and would like some coaching. I know I am parachuting in to all the seasoned 170 vets but that's where I think networking will be very helpfull to me getting a new start. Best bang for the buck?? If you want to chat and hang out around the campfire you can pm me or e me at cotsmanr@cetlink.net or for that matter ring me up cell to cell at 803-417-9820.
i was given this information about finding an airplane
from the N $
Here you go. don't enter the "N", just the rest of the number. For example: to find N1468D, just enter 1468D. The search utility assumes the "N" as the first character.
Sometimes google is almost scary with the things it "understands"
It is very useful ... I can't even remember what it was like having to go to the library and look things up in the encyclopedia or the card catalog. How did I ever get anything done?
