Contacts around the LGB area

Post by Plummit »

Anyone know of any A&P's/IA's around the LGB area of SoCal that has experience with 170's? How about local owners?

BTW, I joined the 170 Association this morning but haven't received a member number yet.

Marc,

There is a large contingent of 170 owners around Long Beach. When you get your membership number, go to the Members Only page and browse the directory. Greg Weiss, one of the most respected 170 mechanics around was from Long Beach, but passed away suddenly this past summer.

Welcome to the club! If you're ever up around Tehachapi, look me up.

Thanks Miles. I bought my sailplane from a guy in Tehachapi, and I've been to the SHA covention a few times too. I'll check out the member's section when I get my number.

Oops! I looked for 170 owners around my area and decided to call a guy listed in the member section that lives near me. Turned out he passed away 1½ years ago! The database is a little behind.
