Garmin GPS
This isn't aircraft related, but do any of you know the pro's or con's of the Garmin C 330 GPS for vehicles? Some places have specials on them on Friday & I was thinking of buying one for arund $130.

Consumer Reports list the Garmin c 330 as a best buy. I just purched a c 340 which is one step up from the c 330. The main difference is the c 330 tells you to turn right in 500 feet and the c 340 tells you to trun right on Elm street in 500 feet. That added feature cost another $20 from the supplier I used.
The price you indicated is better than the price I paid. Also, the Garmin web site has a great comparison feature.
Good luck,
John R

I bought the 320 a year ago for around $220. It is the same as the 330 but with less memory (you can only get about 1/2 of the USA in at a time). I can imagine living without a lot of things in life, but once you get a GPS for the car it is hard to imagine how you ever lived without it. This is especially true as your eyes get older and it is difficult (or impossible) to read maps while you are driving. It is a great product. One word of warning....... even with a GPS my wife and I STILL get in arguments about which way we should turn

Automotive GPS
Thanks guys for the input. Ended up with a TOM TOM ONE @ $142.00 net (after one of those d_ _ _
mail-in rebates. Prices on most of them were reduced quite a bit on this black friday.
With one of these, we guys shouldn't have to listen to our wives telling us to stop and ask for directions
