Well if I have to eat at Mickey D's the rest of the week I should survive after the feast Becky and Kyle put on tonight. Great food, great company and plenty of airplane talk! The tour of RARE aircraft was fascinating and we saw some beautiful old flying machines. Most of the crew in Kyle's earlier post made it in. Bruce and Teresa didn't get here and Dave and Ruth Bengston are down in Kansas somewhere due to weather. Finally got to meet Willie and family today also. Those that are flying are planning to go to a fly-in breakfast in the morning and it appears that most of the "ground bound" will have to stop for the Mall of America or risk marital bliss.

We enjoyed having everyone in OWA! Fun to meet old friends and make new ones. The tour of RARE was fun. The supper and social was PRICELESS! Off this a.m. to Stanton for a fly in breakfast, then the group headed for Duluth. Becky and I have work duties for Monday but plan to see you all on Tuesday..

Willie, hope you got home.

Sorry I missed the party at Kyle and Becky's but visiting family has to be done. We did arrive early Sunday morning to join everyone for the flight to the pancake breakfast fly-in.

Our flight to Duluth was uneventful and we are now sitting in the hotel which is very nice.

More if and when I get time.

Hey all,

Sounds like a great time this weekend...despite the wx!! Being stationed out here in Japan sure lets a person know how much they love flying.......because, there is NO flying out here! Okay....we are flying on the CVN but, no real civie flying! 39A is waiting patiently for me in Blair, Ne and hopefully I'll be able to join you all next year! :D

Fly safe!

Yes I'm just home from the convention about an hour ago.

It was another convention to remember. Julius did a fantastic job as well as all the people who stepped up at the last minute to help him with those special things we have come to expect.

BTW Duluth IS as interesting place to visit. Who would have thought.

I want to also thank Julius for hosting a great convention. As a 1st timer I was not sure what to expect. I enjoyed meeting and putting some faces to the names and meeting everyone in attendance. Also a big thanks to Mark from Hanger 10 for everything as well. He was a great airport host. Hope everyone got home ok.
