F-2

Post by W.J.Langholz »

On July 1st our place was hit with a F-2 Tornado. Mary Jo and I were both home and hunkered down in the basement. When they say it sounds like a train going through your house......it's true!!!! We are o.k., the dog's o.k., the cattle after searching for them are now back home all accounted for and are o.k. The house received enough hail damage to re shingle and repaint 3 sides. The machine shed, and a storage shed received heavy damage. We lost 65 big 1800lb round bales... we have not fond them......with 1 exception, I had a neighbour 1 1/4 mile away find a bale of mine completely intact sitting along side his grove.....I told him he could keep it
We have a lot of tress down and a lot of clean up yet to do. My neighbour to the west about a mile away, his goose-neck livestock trailer is in my south pasture.

We are very thankful no one was hurt that we know of.

and yes the 206 is fine too :D

George, until I get caught up I hope some one else is keeping you in line.......we might make Aug 13th.....we will try :)

Life goes on...... :D

Dubya, glad to hear you're OK. Know it was rough here, but not that rough.

Willie, glad to hear you guys made it through OK! Is that the same machine shed John enlarged the door on a while back? :o Also, looks like you'll have a bit of extra firewood this year...
