TEST - Discregard if you see it.

Post by Bruce Fenstermacher »

Fly in to our place on Aug 13, Saturday.
Jamie and I wil be hosting Gary and Deana Hanson's 50th Anniversary that weekend,
and we'd like to invite all our TIC170A friends to come help celebrate.
There will be lunch served at 1PM, with plenty of smoked-chicken and if anyone wants to bring anything,
they can bring a covered dish. Call Jamie the weekend before if any suggestions
are sought. Live entertainment/music by The Hansons.
Our home ph is listed in the directory and on the Flypaper front page.
There'll be plenty of camping under the wing, and transportation to the local motel
in Marble Falls will also be available if anyone wants to spend the nite, and stay over
for pancakes. (We've got bunks for 14, but don't know how many Hanson's will be
overnight, however any bunks available an be claimed by whomever first slips into them.
The rest can bring a sleeping bag for the floor, in the hangar, under the wing
and/or plan on the motel.
An inexpensive one is:
Hill Country Inn http://www.hillcountrymotel.com - (830) 693-3637
A more upscale one is: Hampton Inn - (830) 798-1895
or La Quinta: (830) 798-2020 both of which have lake views.
My place is found on the San Antonio sectional, "Flying X River" ranch airport, FAA
identifyer 8TA3, http://www.airnav.com/airport/8ta3
The grass runway is 11/29 and is 3400' X 75', elev. 820'
Lat 30.31 Long 98.10, on the CWK 278/34.3 or the LLO 110/35.8
ASOS for nearby Burnet (BMQ, 13 mi. NW) is 119.92 and good to check for
local wx/winds.
Parking/Tie-Down area is in front of my hangar at mid-field, north side of rwy.
Watch out for deer.
YA'LL COME and help us recognize Deana's tremendous fortitude for puttin' up with
Gary for 50 years!

There will be lunch served at 1PM, with plenty of smoked-chicken and if anyone wants to bring anything,
they can bring a covered dish. Call Jamie the weekend before if any suggestions
