I think I like #6, It looks like it has a built in water slide for quick escape or for employees wanting to leave work in a hurry.

Interesting photos! Unfortunately when a government entity hires some high priced architect to design some fancy, artistic structure it adds a lot of unnecessary costs to the project. Just build it for function, not to win some high fluting award

I think it's fine to have good architecture in public buildings,
especially since most are done by bid.

I think these are beautiful structures that speak the to the elegance and importance of aviation.
Think of the skyscrapers that make a city's skyline. They are a celebration of success and acheivement.
A boring structure says the function is needed but the action is not valued nor appreciated.
These budildings say that Aviation is needed, valued, appreciated and certainly not boring.

Keep in mind that tho the airport districts pay to build these towers the airlines end up paying for them through leases of terminal space. Most large cities airports are money makers which other local agencies are always trying to siphon cash.
