Not just the FAA that charges us for the cost of regulation. Our company works with the Bureau of Reclamation and the USFS all the time and to get permits etc from them we are billed for the staff time that they put into issuing the permits, any notifications, hearings, etc, "cost recovery" they call it. Quite a scam.
