My 48 rag had a deviation of 4 degrees and also with the landing lights. I just had all rewired when I recovered the wings and avionics installed[HSI under it]. I moved the compass up to the next bolt in the windshield center and now its changes only 1.5 degrees. It is only with the landing lights and I feel that is OK since I am landing and don't need it.
