I didn't think you were referring to my plane specifically George. Perhaps the electric trim tab you saw was a "boot" leg deal. I was just pointing out to you and others that yes there is a STC'd Electric trim tab from Aero Trim for the 170. In fact the same basic trim system is STC'd for about every aircraft you can think of. Again it was there, ad having used it I wouldn't buy it.
