Kyle, like Doug said, the picture I'm posting below is viewable right here in this posting, but the picture does not reside on this forum's server. The picture is on my Geocities account and I simply inserted a link to it and then this forum does it's magic of displaying the picture here even though it's on Geocities server.

Kyle above is quote copy of Corey's post to you showing his 170 with and without big wheels. The last line (between the [img] [/img] is how the link to his picture looks in the raw form of his message. If you highlight the line (
http://www.geocities.com/coreyhome/Phot ... anding.jpg) and paste it into your WEB browser you can go directly to Cory's pictures.
Corey I hope you don't mind my using your link to add my attempt at helping with the explanation of posting pictures.

Bruce,
On page 1 of this topic (on my computer), There is an example of the problem of the picture covering up the next post.
Alaska 99669 posted a picture of a C-170B water skiing. The next post by Dave Clark was completely covered by the picture, as was the following post by Alaska 99669. I have no clue about Daves post other than his name over on the left hand side.

That is odd, BL. Here is how the topics are displayed on the SEVERAL PC's I use per month:

All the PC's I'm using have Internet Explorer 6.0. What version browser are you using?

I was about to ask the same thing Corey but according to bl, he won't be able to see you post or mine since on his computer it will be covered by the picture you posted.

I think he'll see the text under my picture, but I don't think he'll see this post or yours. Weird!

I am fairly sure that "blue elders"

problem stems from a glitch in the O/S he is using. I have recently had to replace my old computer, running Windows ME, with one using Windows XP/ service pack 2.
I experienced much the same problems "blueldr" is having while I was using ME. There are differences in computers with the same O/S too. My wife has a Dell with Windows XP without the 'service pack 2' and it has problems saving .jpeg images off some of her favoriite web sites. She can view them online but can't save them to a folder for viewing later. My new computer does that without any problem as did my old one with ME.
There is also the possibility that the dial-up ISP, that some of us viewers are using, hampers full compatibility with our forum as well as other online links. The one problem I continue to have is the inability to "Quote" a part or all of a prrevious post and then have it 'show up' in my post in the little bordered window. My attempt at "Quoting" comes up with the " [quote - - - " at each end of the quote {see johneeb's post above} and fails to put it in the little contrasting window. It has to be a problem in the ISP or phone line connection.

I've had a few PC's that would from time to time only save images as BMP's, even if the image was a JPG. Here's a link to the fix:
