Hey, Dave!... I know that most of us figgered it out that you were posting msgs from Jwild's computer, 'cause you signed off as AR Dave...but if you wanted to, you know that you could simply "Log Out" (at the top of the page) from Jim's compooter as Jwild...then LOG IN as yourself (using your regular username/password) and everyone would see your msgs as usual as those from ARDave instead of from Jim.

Traci made it home, with the car, around 4pm and I landed at 6:30 pm tonight. Just a great 2 days! Left Jim and Lolly about 9am and flew, while listening to Lolly's Christmas CD, to Granbury where Ole Pokey and Joe Harris where waiting with coffee and pancakes. We met Larry Schleinat who has a great looking 52, with a 56 paint job. I know paint jobs now because Mr Wildharbor taught me 170 paint scheme history. After pancakes we flew in formation (Joe flew with flaps down), to Lancaster where we ate Buffalo Burgers. Next we toured a hanger with a bunch of Helicopters Bruce would like. A MI-24 Russian Gun Ship and we also found a real pretty Ba Ba Black Sheep Plane, with the wings folded up. Then it was time to say goodbye to a memorable day with wonderful friends, grab some gas at Mosquite, and race night fall flying back to Arkansas. About 9hrs flying in two days. Ole Gar I know I didn't go your way, but if it makes you feel better, we talked about you a whole lot. Even though you weren't there, you still had us in stiches! It's true!

And, it was great to see Jim Baker again, who is rebuilding a 170C/171. Jim, I couldn't find this information in my directory last night, so I had to get on here and do a search. I will email the info to you shortly. Wish you could have joined us for the buffalo burgers, they were good.

Yesterday was VERY FUN! Thanks again Dave for flying out of your way to come visit and have fun with the 170's. Next time, we will fly over to OL GAR's if he won't come over here. But, if he comes here maybe a trip up to the Red River for catfish would be an option.

Dave is such a great ambassador. Being around him makes me seriously think about rejoining. His ability to edify people and an organization is outstanding. His words are always positive. No wonder the Petit Jean 170 Flyin is such a huge success.

Dave, it sure was good to see you yesterday. I know Joe and I enjoyed the all too brief time we spent with you. Hey, wouldn't it be fun to fly up to Petit Jean in that Russian Helicopter or that F4U Corsair? I was glad to talk to you last night to see that you got back to Russelville OK. We enjoyed seeing the other 170 guys at Granbury too. Jim, you've got to get that conversion done so I won't be the only "straight tail" in the group.

GEE! That was nice Bruce! THANKS!

Yes, you asked 14 times more than Dave did. Don't even know if he knows that I didn't rejoin, we didn't talk about it and he didn't ask.

Just being around him made me want to rejoin. In fact, you pushed me over the edge, I'll rejoin this week.
