I like skyvector.com better. It puts the course on a current sectional chart so you can see what kind of terrain and/or special use airspace you're dealing with so you can adjust your route accordingly. :wink: It works whether you're flyng across town or across the country. 8)

Has anyone heard from Greg yet? The WX does not look too good over the North Western half of the US. Lots of IFR and MVFR the next day or two.

Yeah the weather was an issue but so was the fabric on the wings.

The plane was advertised as needing new fabric but I was hoping to be able to fly it for the summer. I have now decided to deal with it sooner rather than later. I am fortunate to be dealing with a great group of retired fellows who have lots of experience and are willing to do the wings as a project. So, the old girl is going to get some new fabric over the next couple of months and I"ll be looking to bring her home late in the spring.

Plus, the weather can only get better!
