There is a picture of NC2581V on an auction site and it clearly shows the position of the NC number on the bottom of the wing. I found it interesting because I could not locate a picture showing the locations when I did mine. Bill K

I am hoping to paint my 48 this summer, it will be done in the original paint scheme done in the original green. After seeing the black and white photo of
NC2549V I would like to know if the Cessna logo on the tail is origina ? and was it green or black ? Are there any records kept by Cessna of the original
aircraft buildup and who and where they were sold ? I think mine came directly to Canada from the factory but it would be intresting to know the histoy.
I remember the original interior as being a gray/green pinstipe material with the top of the seats in a dark green. The Sn. of my 170 is 18116.
