In your post, immediately before my last post, the second picture looks like the top cowl has a "dog leg" in it, just above were it meets the lower cowl??? Maybe it's just a shadow, or I'm crosseyed. The latter is most likely, especially this evening; Christmas PARTY!!! :D . AND I've already picked out the gal I'm takin home tonight. My smokin hot wife 8O :lol: :D :wink:

I don’t know the difference between a 180 and 185. I thought it was engine size.

I believe, around 1965 , they put the extra rear wind in the C 180 as well as in the C 185.

I'm going to go on my memory here ... ... but I think those little air scoops on the bottom of the cowling indicate that these are 185s.

That square tail certainly indicates 180 or 185 aircraft.
