I suppose you could always change the brake calipers back to single with the smaller wheels..... :idea:

Having once switched to double puck brakes, I'd never go back to singles. The doubles just work so much better.

How many of you guys remember how crappy automobile and pick up truck brakes were before they perfected power brakes?
Would you ever go back?

No! I have a recurring dream where I'm driving a car, I'm standing on the brake pedal as hard as I can, and the car is barely slowing down. A bad impression from experiences long ago.... 8O

It's important to note, I believe, that none of those illustrations are on Cessnas. Do not expect YOUR C-170 to have those exact installations.

The way I see the pictures, the double pucks will have 2 sets of plungers.
I will get to the hangar in a couple days and compare to mine.
