I'm still pushing for a thread that deals with aging aircraft issues only!

As always, this is only my humble opinion.

John
What are you waiting for? YOU can start that thread yourself!

Earth to George, You are presently reading the aging aircraft thread that I started.  It needs a recurring /permanent slot.
That's FUNNIER than you know. That's the exact phrase I used on my daughter Ashley while raising her whenever she wasn't paying attention to instructions.! "Earth to Ashley!"

OK, now for the additional humor:
IF you've been "pushing"... I don't know who/what/where you''ve been "pushing" because I certainly haven't heard from you on this, and neither has Bruce or he'd have done something about it.

For those Members who want something done in this Association.... Keep in mind that THIS IS AN ASSOCIATION. It is run by volunteers. You cannot "push" for things to be done FOR you. If you want something...then DO IT!
Bruce and I and the editorial board are constantly begging Members to produce tangible, printable product we can publish. If you have an area of interest...then GET IT STARTED YOURSELF. All it takes is ONE energetic person and others will join in.

John, if you have useful, factual, information about aging aircraft you think is applicable to our airplanes, then start that thread and when it develops out...Bruce and/or I will organize it into the library.

Meanwhile... (humor intended)...If YOU started this thread... then why are you wondering when someone will start a thread on this subject?

Got some close-up pics John? Where did the crack(s) originate from and do you have an idea as to why?

I don't even have the parts anymore. As fate would have it I gave them to the FAA along with the "Service difficulty" report to my PMI over a year ago and never heard back from him or them. I fully expected an AD over that very issue by now. In a previous thread we have thrashed it out and that thread might have at least the FAA contact guy who had chimed in on the subject.
