Re: FAA Registration Information
The registration forms will not be mailed to you either. FTW FSDO requires that one appear IN PERSON to obtain one.

Are you sure about that, George? There seems to me to be a helluva lot of places that aren't at all handy to a FSDO.

Re: FAA Registration Information
Last I need one about 3 years ago, the Allentown FSDO wanted to mail it to me. When I asked if I couldn't just stop in to get one they said no. I had to make an appointment and besides they could mail it to me. I said, OK how about an appointment in 45 minutes and they relented and said OK. 45 minutes later after passing through the first level of security, there in the hall was a rack full of them. I took 3, one to use, one in case I messed up the first and the last one just because.

Re: FAA Registration Information
I guess this is why the FAA has us now register every 3 years or it is voided. Without the reg current I am told the aircraft can be seized and held.

Re: FAA Registration Information
Yep. They told me I had to come pick it up in person. When I arrived, the heavy security door was locked and they had to "buzz" me in. Once inside, there was an entire rack of forms including registration forms free for the taking. I also took several because of all the trouble.blueldr wrote:Are you sure about that, George?
