Float guys usually install 4 lifting eyes, 2 front spar, 2 rear spar, for better balance and more stability while the plane is several feet in the air for float change-outs but if you are just going to hoist the 170 to work on tires/wheels/main gear, the plane hangs nicely from the two front eyes.
