Miles-
You're on! That's what's great about cars and airplanes, they don't mind if you trade off.

The first day we had the Pontiac, we drove it from Tulsa to Guthrie, OK. After dinner we were driving around right at sunset when we drove past the Guthrie drive-in. The neon lights had just come on around the screen and ticket booth and we just couldn't pass up the half-price tickets. We watched "Shanghi Nights" with Jackie Chan and the metal speaker hung on the window. Just like the good old days except I actually got to third base later that night after the movie (never was that lucky in high school).

Anyway, the eyebrow does get in the way a little but if you pull up high in the sloped space it's not bad.

George, those are some neat automobile brochures. Fun to look back and remember those oldies! The first car I remember my folks having was a worn out '36 Chevrolet coupe ( I guess it was a coupe--had only one seat in the front), then Dad bought his brother's '40 or '41 Ford (again I think it was a coupe--two front seats & I had to stand behind them --no back seat). Dad never again bought anything but Ford's, except one Dodge truck, as long as he lived his 88 yrs. There has always been different opinions on the virutes of different engines in automobiles. I am curious to what is fact or fiction regarding the 5 cylinder engines GM put in the suv's a few years back. Someone said a 5 cylinder engine was the most perfectly balanced engine ever designed. I sure don't know, but did rent one once and was impressed with its power and another thing GM touted was being an inline engine it permitted a shorter turning radius. Like our 6 cylinder Continentals, it would be hard to beat the smoothness of a V-12 auto engine.

As long as everything works and nothing hurts, I don't care how old I get!

And older women get better looking every year.
