What did you use for the fan in that setup? I assume it is the yellow thingy.

I'm thinking the same thing, the inside of that fan is likely caked in paint. I did a similar thing not realizing how quickly things built-up.

I thought that the purpose of the filter was to catch the paint particles. It must have done a lot of that by the looks of all the filter element.
