Good day for a fly-in! Six 170's' flew in, 2 B models and 4 A models. 12 people and only 3 were driving and we needed those vehicles and the airport courtesy car to get everyone into town to eat. I think everyone enjoyed "Prontos" Italian food and the pie that was served back at the airport. I worried all week that we would get weathered out like the last time I tried to host a fly-in but it waited till early Sunday morning to rain almost an inch (the most we have had in a while.

This is a spammers game. The exact same post was posted by Paul for as another fly-in report you can see here: http://www.cessna170.org/forums/viewtop ... %27#p96328

I've terminated the spammer but this time left the post so you all can see what we deal with. In this case the post could have made sense but I think they just got lucky, most times they don't. The first clue is that something is just not right and it is the posters first post.

Okay I've got a question.
I can see what they're after when they have a link or something to get us with but what do they gain by something like this?
Kim

Kim, I've often wondered this myself and wish I knew the answer.

You might want to edit out or corrupt the links the spammer posted.

Lower left corner, in the signature area.

[Wow. Dave et all, that was another new spam message left in a thread about spam. Wonder if they knew when they left it?

I've deleted the entire post.] - written by BruceF, I think - gahorn
