Finally an Owner

Today I pick up N3234A from Chris and Angela Anderson, a 53 B. I'm so very impressed with the condition, the aircraft is in great shape. We just completed a 425nm return flight home, after a 4 hour flight down, and a 2 hour checkout. Everything worked, and the flight was uneventful. Today was the first time we seen the aircraft in person and after a few minuets was very apparent that my homework was done successfully. Today was also the first time I've had the pleasure of flying any 170, and I couldn't be happier with the handling. It is by far the easiest tail wheel aircraft I've ever had the opportunity to fly. I'm certainly looking forward to some rest, and the years to come perfecting my new found love and skill set. Chris and Angela, were absolutely the best, and some of the nicest people I've meet. Everything about this purchase has come together in a divine fashion, and there is no other way to explain it. It was meant to be. I want to thank everyone on here that has contributed on way or another on my previous post. I'm sure I will have a lot more questions, as I run into things. When I'm not so exhausted I'll get some pictures uploaded.

Thanks Again Everyone,
Sincerely,
Jason P.

Congradulations and welcome to 170 ownership. If you enjoy your 170 half as much as I have you will be a happy man. Bill K

I'm sure you found out Angela is second generation TIC170A people and if I recall you'll be the third TIC170A member to own the plane. Congratulations on your purchase. Sorry to see Angela and Chris without a 170 but they could probably fly Angela's parents 170 any time they wanted.

I did, I take real comfort in the fact that the aircraft has been in such good hands for a long time!!

Jason, that airplane is one that I considered as a replacement for 98C before I decided to go ahead with the rebuild. If you don't already have it, I have the CD of FAA records on that airplane I'll send you.

Thanks so much for the offer, I do have the FAA records, and a huge box full of paperwork. I'm definitely not short on information.. lol It'll take me a couple months to go through everything.

Hi Jason, glad to hear you are satisfied with 34A. We have a long history with that airplane having known the previous owners (Tumblin family) for years. John kept meticulous records of everything. Hated to see Angela (daughter) sell it, but it needed to go where it would get regular excercise. I need to warn you however, we have friends in MO and go there on a regular basis to visit...you may know Bob Coats, from Cabool,MO. We may pop in sometime just to make sure your treating 34A properly. Now you need to make plans for attending the convention in Gulf Shores, AL this year...Happy flying.

Hello Ed,
You're most welcome to stop by and visit anytime!! I just finished going through the all the paperwork. It is nothing short of meticulous, and very impressive. I will make every effort possible to keep that trend going and organized. We haven't had time to make any plans yet, we're still trying to get the hanger situated and stocked. So far the only plans we know we want to attend is Oskosh. We have never been. Anyways, I'm sure we'll run into each other sometime, somewhere. Thanks for making contact, I very much appreciate it!!
