Could someone tell me why the dates of the topics are all over the place ? I would think the most current topic would be at the top of the list constantly ??? Thx, the ButchPilot !

In each section there are informational units and after these listings are the current Topics in the most current listing.

As John alluded to, our moderators have anchored a few posts which they have deemed to be important information at the beginning of the topic listings in each section of the index. Consider these posts as FAQ's or what is important/should/good to know, then the chronological posts follow. This topic is the most recent presently in the pilot lounge.

Butch, if you only wish to view the most-recent discussions (I'm making an assumption here).... all you need do is click on the link "Board Index", then select "View New Posts".... and you will find the posts which have been modified since your last visit.
Otherwise, you can look at the index list on the LEFT, and the symbols which are "red" are the ones you've not read yet.
It's a bit like entering an existing living-room. You must learn to navigate about the house as your hostess wishes to arrange her home. One cannot simply expect all the furniture to be re-arranged for a new visitor, or require all the regular guests to learn anew where the beer is.
