preheater recommendation .
Earlier this winter I purchased a rechargeable propane gun type heater from Northern tool for use around my heavy equipment business. Turns out it makes a great preheater for the 170. Just set it up under the belly of the plane and direct it in where the cooling air exits the cowling and it does a great job of heating the engine. No external power source required and easy to carry to and from the airport. Just make sure to keep it back a few feet from the gascolator. Bill K
