WAC vs Sectional

I normally use Sectionals for all of my vfr flying. However, for my trip from Georgia to Tehachapi, since it is so far, I ordered WAC's rather than Sectionals for the entire route for better paper management in planning and in the airplane. The WAC's still do not show the airport identifiers on the chart as the Sectionals do. I was wondering if anybody knows who we can write to to try and get them to start putting airport identifiers on the WAC charts as they are revised?

I asked a similar question of one of our local FSDO guys, about how to see about deleting defunct airstrips from the chart. He told me to look on the chart--there's a little box that sez "NOTICE TO USER OF THIS CHART--you are urgently requested to inform us of corrections and/or additions
..............................Mail to:
National Ocean Service/NOAA,N/CG31,SSMC-4 Sta. #2335,1305 East-West Hwy.,Silver Spring,MD 20910-3281,telephone toll-free 800-626-3677."
All the routing numbers in that address might be just for corrections to this particular sectional (Seattle). Look on your WAC for the "notice..." box I assume is on there somewhere, & see what it sez.
It'll be at least a year before any corrections or additions/deletions are made. You might want to just take an airport directory (I use AOPA's) along to look up identifiers.Other good info in there also re: local attractions, eateries, etc.

Harold, I'm using WAC charts till I get west and then Sectionals. I don't need all the detail till I get west and want the detail for the mountains and specialty areas.

John,

I did buy a Los Angeles Sectional since we will be doing some local flying in that area. WAC's for all between. Also bought Low Altitude Enroute's for entire route for frequencies, etc.
