Throttle Linkage?

Hi all,

I’m in the middle of a mammoth first annual as actual owner of my airplane, and one of the things I’m tackling is the throttle linkage which has been too short and improperly routed for my entire existence with the airplane.

I have a copy of the IPC, but I’m having trouble visualizing the attachment of the throttle cable routing hardware. I’m also missing the bracket (0550100-5) so if anyone has one laying around that would like to re-home or can provide me with dimensions to fabricate an owner-produced part, I’d be most appreciative.

1952 B model S/N 20408 for those who are curious.

That’s IPC page 85, Item 13.. I agree that is a horrible illustration and to give you a better pic a person would have to remove the lower cowling….

NEXT TIME someone has their cowlings off…Take Pics…

(Ill try to get this done shortly if someone doesn’t provide the answer soon.)

I was at the hangar today and remembered you were looking for photos/info about the throttle cable bracket. My cowling isn’t removed so the pics shown are the best of the bunch (sorry about the finger in frame). I hope this is what you were looking for and that it helps you out.
