Does this look right?

I ordered a tailwheel spring/chain kit from Univair for my '48. The replacement springs are about double the diameter of what is on it.
Is this correct or did they send me the wrong thing? I wanted to make sure that it was right before I installed them.
Also, the chain is about 4" too long. What do ya'll cut it with to shorten it down?

It is if your aircraft is equipped with a Scott 3200 tailwheel. Smaller diameter springs are utilized on the solid rubber Scott 2000, seen on the C-170's smaller cousin, the Cessna 140/120 and some C-140A's.

Yes, It has the scott 3200 tailwheel.
What does one use to cut the chain with? A dremel?

Diagonal cutters will do fine. If you only have a little bit to shorten you can open up the last link and remove it from the previous link and repeat.
