Alternator front seal?

Anyone have the alternator front seal PN and perhaps
a source handy? This is for the Ford-based (ala early
C-172) alternator conversion for our C-145s / O-300s.
Also, could someone verify the front gasket (alternator
to case) PN? I have a 1-36100 number scribbled down
on some notes, but I think that's a gasket for a generator
(are they identical?)

I just ordered an overhaul manual + parts catalog for
the C-145/O-300 series engines (CD from McCurtain
Technologies) but I don't know if it will show the proper
seal for an alternator conversion.... My alternator
conversion has no STC paperwork, just a 337 in the logs
covering the installation "as installed" with "early Cessna
172 parts".

Bela, I have a Ford/Cessna alternator conversion. It uses a C11501-0201 alternator. The front seal is a NAPA #8648.
The original generator gasket is p/n 36100. A while back, George posted that this has been superceded by p/n 652072.
Same gasket for the generator & the alternator.

or.... hell, I'm buyin').

Mags go to the shop tomorrow morning for the
500 hour impluse coupling inspection AD. I thought
I'd try to re-seal the alternator while I'm back there,
so this is perfect timing.

If you change the gen/alt mount gasket, also remember to change the tach-drive seal. (PN 642714)
(Another good (albeit undocumented) mod I recommend is to drill a 1/8" hole in the lower bell-housing of the tach drive cable where it attaches to the tach drive housing. This allows any engine oil that escapes the tach drive to drain into the lower cowling rather than travel up the speedo-type tach drive cable and into the tachometer and cockpit. Avoids ruining the tach and the cabin interior.)
