170 Owners in Tennessee

Hello,

I am new to the association.......RCollins turned me on the the site ( I bought n1745D from him) I know I hated to see her go... :D
I was wondering if there are any 170 owners that live in the Tennessee area?...........I am in Nashville and 45D is kept at MQY............also I could use some good tips on wheele landings...Sean

I am in Tupelo TUP I own 1256D a 1950 A model. Welcome to the association and good luck with your 170. There is all kinds of discussion on wheel lands on the site. Use the search feature.

BOUT TIME! :D We've been waiting on you since last spring, even kept an extra steak out for you at the Petit Jean 170. Yes there are 170's around, at least 3 in Memphis. BTW- Don't EVER post how fast your plane is on this website! Remember, 45D fly's at book value and that's your story! :wink:

Just about ready to put a good ole shine on 45D........she should pick up a knot or two...........I know .........it took me too long to join up on the site but I made it.....Ill try to make it to the flyin next year for sure, Randal said it was a good turn out

I'm just up the road a piece. Franklin, KY. WelcomeField (35KY) Stop in sometime. I'm the green hanger at the west end of the field.

My wife and I just got in from rough river in KY....We went up to check it out.....we are looking for a fun place that we can camp at our airplane.....I dont think Rough River was the place.......
Anyway I will try and fly up sometime and look you up

On September the 10. 11, an 12th there is fly in at Rough River. Our chapter 1165 from Russeville KY & / Welcome Fieldshall be going up on friday. Usually a pretty good turn out. The Glastar folks usually have a flyin the same time.

did you ck out the resturant at Rough river, usuall pretty good.

Maybe we'll see ya up at rough or here at " Welcome Field" SEE YA

Thanks for the info about the flyin up at Rough River my wife and I were looking at our scheduls and we will have the Sat. off...........our son has a football game in the morning and we are going to fly up after that......ill be in N1745D
