Gentlemen,

I recently purchased a tie down bolt that came with a fiberstop nut and the bolt was not drilled. Against my better judgement, I installed it with the fiberstop nut.

DO NOT USE A FIBERSTOP NUT. They work loose.

This tie down bolt DID NOT come from George's source.

The specified nut is an AN365 nut. This is an elastic stop nut. (Acceptable substitutes are: MS21083 and NAS1022N or if you want stainless, MS21083C)
Do not reuse elastic stop nuts in critical or high vibration areas.
If you prefer you may also substitute an all-metal stop nut Part number AN363-720 or stainless AN363C-720.
The original bolt was an AN7-22A (undrilled), which is the basis for the 0642105 tailwheel tiedown eyebolt (also undrilled.)
