Friends,
My family bought me a beautiful wood model of a Cessna 170 that was customized to look like mine--unfortunately, the company missed a few paint details. It was sent back for a correction, which never happened after 8 months. They finally cancelled the order in frustration.
Have any of you ordered a 170 model that was customized that you felt was expertly done? I would appreciate your feedback. We still want to get a model but want it done right. While the model we received was nicely done, their customer support afterwards wasn't acceptable.
Thanks,
Bill Venohr

P.S. The V strut of the '48 seems to be difficult to do--this company would only do single struts.

Try Pacific Aircraft Models in Phoenix Arizona . If you send the a photo of your airplane they will nearly duplicate it. They did a custom job for me a couple of years ago, of a P51 that Dr. Roscoe Brown (Tuskegee Airmen) flew, and he said it was identical in every respect.
