Not a 170, but it is a Cub

Well after 5 1/2 years being apart for wing, elevator, stabilizer and rudder recover as well as an engine overhual my Clipped Wing flies again. Just in time to go to Sentimental Journey in Lockhaven PA.

The only movie that played for me was the taxi-out. But it looks good!

I like that paint scheme. The yellow cub is classic, but it sure is nice to see them with some different paint. I got my tailwheel rating in a cub and will always have fond memories of the view from the front seat with the windows open on either side on a perfect summer day.

Darn computers. I did test the movies and all worked at work but now not at home.
My wife and I do like the colors.
As for the paint scheme I did not design it as it's been painted this way since at least 1964. Believe it or not there is another Cub based at this airport that is nearly identical only using cream instead of white. With a casual look you can't tell them a part.

Bruce, your Cub looks great. Bet its a blast to fly. I normally am a traditionist when it comes to Cubs---I like Cub Yellow. However yours is an exception. Us folks with Green & White planes have to stick together.

Glad to see someone take longer to do a wing recover! Mine took 2.5 years (engine is the next project).
Hope to see you at Lock Haven. My 170 will be the baggage car for two Cubs (a J3C-90 and a PA18-90).
