Maybe I'm the last one to learn about this, but here goes anyway:

Meditate on the names of the fixes on the RNAV (GPS) Runway 16 approach at Portsmouth, NH: http://204.108.4.16/d-tpp/0508/00678R16.PDF , approaching from the west and going to the missed approach holding point.

Talk about cockpit distractions! Can you imagine being in the middle of this approach in serious IFR and suddenly getting it?!! It would be hard to keep the wings level!

In the old days there were two arrivals into the DFW area known as the Scurry and the Blue Ridge arrivals. When the VOR's were relocated and renamed....they re-named the arrivals. FLIP and FINGER
Apparently someone eventually noticed and made name changes.
