Looking for Original Paint Colors

Post by knesbitt »

I have a 1955 170B that the original color was "Cypria Mettalic Red". Does anyone know where I might find this color or maybe an OME code so I can match it? If so let me know here or e-mail at CaptK326@aol.com. Thank you.

This color was PN 27-10892. Cessna should be able to provide you with a color chart and/or the Standard Paint Combination Form. Sometimes a chip of the original color can be found under sheet metal repairs, beneath fairings, or on adjacent attached parts.

Good luck.
