Anyone have experience with sonic bird repellants? Do they work? Any specific one you'd recommend? I'd hate to spend over $100 then just have to go back to the "12-guage" method.

The only cure is to close all the holes a bird can get in. If you are outside shoot all the birds.

I've been shooting the birds, and that works pretty well, but more will show up.
I guess I shoould clarify the original post: I'm in an open hangar, and pigeons and starlings will nest in there and I get tired of droppings on my airplane. I've only had 1 nest in the airplane in almost 2 years. Recently got 110 power to the hangar, giving me the new option of plugging in some kind of electric bird repeller. But I hate to spend the money if they don't work.

The new Sport Aviation has a solution for overhead wire to repel sitting or nesting. It's homemade and simple.
