The International Cessna^® 170 Association

my 170 A has a scott 3200 tailwheel. Has anyone had any trouble with the ground handling while taxing or getting the wheel to release when pushing the plane.

There are several topics/subjects which discuss some of the tailwheel problems in this forum. You might try the "search" routine, above. Of course, proper maintenance, adjustment, and lubrication are all the major culprits.

Thanks.. I tried the search and found some answers that help. We have checked all the obvious and are on the right track, will contact directly some of the members in that forum. I was not used to the new format in the forum.
