Hi everyone,
I had Edo 2000s installed and my prop re-pitched to a 7647. Does anyone have any experience with this setting? I'm hoping to be able to carry two adults, full fuel and 100 lbs in the back. That pretty much puts me at 2106 lbs. I have no stol kit and a C-145 so pretty much a stock 170B. Your comments on performance in this config would be greatly appreciated. Also a ballpark IAS if possible. Thanks.

I have an 80/ 40 prop and all I can say is how big are the people?

With 2 200 lb's you might have to leave out some fuel. I fly to a cabin 1 hour away and never fill my tanks above 3/4 unless I know I'm light.

Wind and temp make a big difference. I have flown with a 76/49 but it was along time ago. The 80/40 was a big improvement. As far as airspeed goes..... cubs pass me! I run about 2550 cruise.

I considered the 80 inch prop but can't justify the expense for this year. It'll have to wait.

I currently run an 80x40 with the Kenmore STC, it's the best you can do with
a 145hp. Prior to this prop I used a 76x49. It had a great cruise speed, but tested the nerves getting out of smaller lakes. The 76x47 should be ok, and it'll buy you some time to find an 80".
