I tried the fish (flounder) yesterday and it was great. Two large pieces of fish, 2 side,s hush puppies and a drink for 5.99. They still have their annual flyin the first Saturday in November.mchan wrote:Stanton BBQ Bennettsville, SC
This place is a pilots dream. You won't find it on a sectional but once your in the area ask the controller for vectors to the place and they'll get you there. 2900 private grass strip, land, walk across the street and prepare yourself for some of the best pulled pork bbq you'll find (IMHO). Cheap too I want to say I had two bbq sandwhiches fries and unlimited sweet tea for less than $10. They're only open thurs, fri, sat, sun and they have some weird hours. You can find info on the net about them and they used to have a website but it's been down for some time now. Really this place is a great place I rented a plane and took three co workers down there from FAY. We split the plane came out to a total of around $65 per including lunch.
They do have a myspace page with they're menu and some pics of the place

If you like good old southern hospitality and great pulled pork bbq this is the place guys. They are also a fish camp but I haven't tried their fish yet.
