I'm bringing my "new" baby back on Tuesday and am looking for recommendations on where I should stop for fuel, lunch, etc. I'll be leaving Berry Hill Airport (4A0) Conyers, Ga (just south of Atlanta) and heading NE through the Carolinas to Hampton Roads Executive, Norfolk, Va.

The plan is to remain in uncontrolled airspace over the entire trip.....any suggestions/favorites out there?

Thanks, Chris 8)

A bit out of the way, but would keep you over flatter land. KLOZ restaurant on the field. Taxi up front.

If you don't mind, What is the cost of cheap fuel over there??
I am paying $4.75 - $5.25 for a gallon (3.8litres) here in South Africa.
Thanks, Reid

A quick and easy way to check fuel prices in the U.S.A. is http://www.airnav.com
I just looked and 3.37 per gallon was the cheapest I saw. Many airports are closer to the prices you quoted in South Africa.
