My first couple of weeks with 39A...

Post by Hawkeyenfo »

Well, it's been a fun first couple of weeks with my "new" 170B! After replacing the TW bearings, tube and tire and then rebuilding the right mag I got the 1 hour insurance check-ride and it was off to the races :) Gotta say, I love it more each time I take it up! The weird thing is for me, wheel landings have been easier to do than 3 points.....kind of opposite of what some of the posts would lead me to believe.

Next week, "new" radios and an intercom! Narco Mk12A replaced by King 135A, -197, -24 Audio panel and an RNAV on the right (glove box) with a new head unit. Benn using a handheld and yelling to passengers....ICS will be nice :)

Pics when I get back from this at-sea period!
