I'm a bit curious about that pitot tube. Any comment?

I'll bet the airplane used to be based in England or some other place in the U.K. They even drive their automobiles on the wrong side over there, and run their engines backwards.

Blue,
England thats probably it. I thought maybe it had a left wing on the Right side but than the pitot would be on top or facing the tail of the airplane. :P :P :P Thilo that is one fine looking airplane!!!!!!

The link indicated it was a "B" model. From the look of the cowling latches, it must be a '52. They built a good many more of those than any other year, so it's a good possibility.

Definitely a B. Dihedral is obvious, and the elevator shape is right.

GOOD looking airplane, Thilo!

The instrument panel is "52 or earlier with the piano keys. NICE JOB fellows!

Now what about the rest of the web-site. Is the line-up of "airliners" actual RC planes or just models?

It's serial 25390, a '52 B model.
