Deploying again soon and looking for an online Masters program (MSM/MBA/MPA)....any recommendations out there?

OBTW, flew form with Gary W (SFQ) down to Craft Field in NC on Sunday. Met Craig and Mark (brothers) who own it and fly out of there...great folks!! 2900 feet of beautiful (brown) grass. Just watch out for the power lines along the North end (both low on road and high tension in the field north)

Embry-Riddle Aero University has a good relationship with the Navy and has some excellent Master's program's that are available online. I did the Master's of Aeronautical Science with specialization in aeronautics and minored in safety at Pax River with some online classes.

Hawkeye, back when I was at PAX (12 years ago) there was a program with the University of Tennessee Knoxville (I think) that was some sort of aviation program. I was enrolled in it and took an airborne radar course. I was a helo guy so it was all new to me, but there were a bunch of jet guys that considered it more of a review. Anyhow, there may be online courses now (internet was too new back then).
I have heard very good things about Embry Riddle's online degrees, and believe that you can get quiet a bit of credit from your flight/NFO training. You might look at their aviation management program.

Most of the guys that go through USNTPS go to UTSI because they only need 4 or 5 classes to get a masters of systems engineering with TPS counting for quite a bit of the degree. John Hopkins was another place that had some online degrees as well and took some of the Navy training.

UTSI=University of Tennessee Space Institute, located near my old stomping ground, Arnold Engineering Development Center. I'm not sure if the Space Institute has an online program, but you might find out at this link: http://online.utk.edu/

Thanks for jogging my memory Rupert. I believe that was the degree that I was working on... then I started having children and put it aside. I was the only non TPS student taking the course. Back then we had to sit in a classroom and watch videos of the lecture, not like now when you can get so many degrees online. There are even online alternatives for some classes with labs i.e. Biology, etc. I am often amazed at how much communications have changed in the past ten years.

Dacker, I still think there are a few classes that require the video method if you want to get the profs lectures, but at this point, there is so much gouge passed down from the guys after each class that the video lectures aren't "really" required!
