C-145 oil lubrication

I am currently in the middle of my annual once again with bad cylinders. After many tests the engine was removed and disassembled. Upon visual inspection, I find the crank oil tube from the rear main journal to the crank throw of #1 does not line up with the rod cap spray port when the main bearing and crank pass the oil relief groove. In summary, when rod#1 is at bottom dead center, there is no oil spray into the #2 piston for lubricating. If any body has ever researched this or experienced the lack of lubrication, I'd love to talk with you. Barry Miller
