George those shoes look like the ones Ina wore while painting the Instrument Panel

Geez! Talk about hijacking a thread, here we were trying to do some real, serious, investigative reporting trying to figure out what is going on with posting pictures on this website, then you leave the forum for a few hours and no telling what you're going to find when you get back! Y'all were supposed to be looking at the panel anyway!

No problem, I'll work your hijack into the thread to illustrate the points.
But just for the record, neither one of you guys is even close. First, those are MY shoes, the pilot is my nephew. Second, it doesn't have anything to do with Ina, she hasn't even seen it yet, and she'll really be surprised when she does. Look at the pictures below and see if you can see any red paint in there anywhere. The paint (stain, actually) on my shoes came from several places but most recently from the newly engineered and constructed self-launching, floating, floatplane dock/party barge at my cabin. Once launched, the wheel gear comes off by pulling a few pins and then it converts to the beach stand-off rigging where it is pinned to the shore anchors and back to the dock. It can be detached from shore and converted to party barge mode in about 2 minutes with no tools. Just add electric trolling motor, battery, deck chairs, people and beer. For you sharp-eyed folks, the ramp to shore has not been installed in the second picture.
Now, back to the thread:
First, I am by no means an expert on this, I just kept trying until I figured it out. Somebody else out there might have a better explanation. If so, share it with us.
Bruce, your picture enlarges just fine. The original must be a big enough file so that it can enlarge, and that can be adjusted on your camera before you take he picture. There are usually several different selections for picture size and quality. I usually set the camera for max resolution and size. Later at home, I edit the size and resolution down and save the edited picture to another location on my computer using the editing program that comes with the camera. Editing to 900 pixels on the long side and about 225KB file size allows the picture to enlarge to almost full page size on the forum and have good resolution.
To upload a picture, first "Disable BBCode". Click on "Upload attachment" and then "Browse" your files for the picture you want and double click on it. Click on "Add the file", click the cursor where you want the picture to be posted in the text of the post, click "Place inline", and the pictures will be located in the text of the post at the position where the cursor is. You can then keep writing and adding pictures as you go. When finished with your post, click "Submit".

Additional text can be added between the pictures if "Place inline" is used.

If you DO NOT click on "Place inline" after "Add the file", but just click "Submit" after you have uploaded all your pictures, there will be a background border around your pictures with the word "Attachments" in it. The pictures will all be located at the end of the post, not scattered out thru the post where you might want them. Either way, the pictures can be enlarged by clicking on the picture, but only if the original picture uploaded is itself larger than the displayed picture.
